Boryung to Host Live ISS Event Featuring Korean Elementary Students' Space Artwork

<p><br>Boryung (CEO and Chairman Jay Kim) announced that it will host a special live event titled 'Humans In Space (HIS) Youth Award-Winning Space Artwork Presentation' at Yonsei University this July, featuring a real-time connection with the International Space Station (ISS). The event is co-hosted by Boryung and the Korea Science and Creativity Foundation (KOSAC).</p><p>The event will feature a live broadcast of astronauts aboard the Axiom Space Mission 4 (AX-4) presenting 20 space-themed drawings created by Korean elementary school students directly from space.</p><p>This project marks a historic first for South Korea, as Korean elementary students' artwork travels to and receives a presentation aboard the International Space Station for the first time. The initiative represents a symbolic private-sector effort that brings together science, art, and education. This achievement marks the first Korean creative work to reach the ISS in 17 years since Dr. Yi So-yeon's mission in 2008, and establishes the first official presentation of pure artistic creations from space in Korean history.</p><p>A Boryung representative stated, 'This live event goes beyond a simple broadcast. We designed it as a purely educational public interest project that will inspire creativity in young people through artwork presentations by astronauts and real-time Q&amp;A sessions with children in attendance.' The representative added, 'Elementary students selected through the 2025 HIS Youth competition will participate directly in the event, and we expect this to serve as an opportunity to expand public interest in space missions, educational content, space medicine, and the commercial space industry.'</p><p>Representatives from the Korea Science and Creativity Foundation, Boryung, as well as officials from domestic aerospace companies and related organizations, will attend the event.</p><p>Jay Kim, CEO and Chairman of Boryung, commented, 'Space is not merely about science―it's a realm of imagination.
